Using the Console site map

Introduction
If CD Shell was booted without a startup script (cdshell.ini), you will find yourself at the command prompt. Here you can type commands to the program one at a time. You can browse the contents of the disc, manually execute boot options, and other such tasks.

Some commands make sense only for scripting, so they won't be available in the console. The command definitions on this page have the letter 'C' in their title bar if they are able to be used on the command line.

Getting Help
You can get help at any time while in the console by either pressing 'F1' or using the help command. Typing "help" and pressing return, or simply hitting 'F1' will display general program help. For help on using specific commands, you can type "help" followed by the command name.
